It is encouraging to see trainees develop their teaching skills during the SCITT placements. The structure of the SCITT course, where a trainee will do a placement in the Autumn term with us, then go to another school, then return to us in the summer term, enables school based tutors to see the trainee’s progression and confidence grow.
