Welcome to the Dorset Training School Partnership

The Dorset Training School Partnership, SCITT situated at The Thomas Hardye School (Managing Agent).

Funding and Allocations: 2012 - 2013

Tuition Fees

The Government is currently undertaking a review of ITT provision. As a consequence of this review there is some uncertainty in the sector with regard to tuition fees or budgets for 2012 - 13. However, it is likely that our tuition fees will be between £7000 and £9000. We will revise the information on our website as soon as we are able.

Allocations

Our allocations have now been confirmed and we will have places for 26 trainees for 2012-2013.

What is a SCITT?

SCITT stands for School Centred Initial Teacher Training which means that the schools play a central role in the training of teachers.

Schools within the DTTP benefit from the professional development of school staff as they become involved in the mentoring process and the enrichment of classroom activity by the addition of motivated and committed adults who are training to be teachers in the primary age range (5 – 11 years).
